Multiple outlets are reporting that Offset was shot while in Florida, not far from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Seminole County police tells Page Six, “We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure, and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
TMZ was the first to report the scary news, and a rep for Offset told them he is “currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”
Per TMZ, Offset was photographed smiling and taking photos with fans just “moments” before being shot outside the casino, and “seemed relaxed and friendly” according to a witness. Gunfire then “erupted outside the valet area.”
Offset's Migos bandmate Takeoff was fatally shot in November 2022 after an altercation over a dice game. Us Weekly notes that he was “reportedly an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.”
